This website and the services described on it are run by Youssef Bitar, Auto-entrepreneur (Morocco), trading as Develop Better Solutions, Résidence Al Kawtar, Sidi Moumen, 20630 Casablanca, Morocco. Auto-entrepreneur No. 002112908000094, tax identifier (IF) 26051294.

We decide how and why your personal information is used, which makes us the data controller. Youssef Bitar is also the person in charge of the protection of personal information, including for the purposes of Québec's Law 25. You can reach him at info@develop-better-solutions.com.

It covers personal information we handle when you visit develop-better-solutions.com, when you contact us through the website form, by email, by WhatsApp or by booking a call, and when you become a client. It applies to visitors and clients in Morocco, Canada, the United States, France and the rest of the European Union, and anywhere else.

When you contact us. Your name, email address, phone number if you give it, your company, the service you are interested in, your message, and the time and details of any call you book.

When you become a client. Billing details, the information and materials you share for the project, and our correspondence with you.

When you browse the site. Technical information such as your IP address, browser and the pages you request, which our hosting provider processes to deliver the site and keep it secure. If, and only if, you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also records how you use the site: pages viewed, approximate location and device type.

We do not ask for sensitive information such as health data or government identity numbers. Please do not send it to us.

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote. Basis: steps you ask us to take before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to you.
• To carry out a project and invoice it. Basis: our contract with you, and our legal obligation to keep accounting records.
• To keep the website secure and working. Basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe website.
• To understand how the site is used, through Google Analytics. Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To show a finished project in our portfolio. Basis: our agreement with you. You can ask us not to, or to remove it later.

The bases named above are those of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation. Under Canadian, Moroccan and US law we rely on your consent or on the purposes being necessary for the service you asked for.

We do not sell or rent personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects. We do not send marketing messages unless you have agreed to receive them.

We use a small number of service providers. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.

• Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): website hosting, security and email routing.
• Google (Google Ireland Ltd and Google LLC): website analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
• Tally BV (Belgium): the contact form embedded on our pages.
• Cal.com, Inc. (United States): booking calls.
• WhatsApp (Meta Platforms): only if you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
• Our email inbox provider, and the payment and accounting services we use to invoice clients.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute.

We are based in Morocco and some of our providers are in the United States or the European Union, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live. Where a provider transfers personal data out of the EU, it relies on recognised safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to the one described in this policy.

• Enquiries that do not lead to a project: up to three years after our last exchange.
• Client records: for the length of our relationship, then invoices and accounting records for the ten years Moroccan law requires.
• Analytics data: no longer than fourteen months.
• Your cookie choice: six months, after which we ask again.
• Security logs kept by our hosting provider: for the short periods it sets for security purposes.

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your information, unless we must keep it by law;
• stop or limit using it, or object to a use based on our legitimate interest;
• send it to you or to another provider in a common format;
• withdraw your consent, for example to analytics, at any time.

To use any of these rights, email info@develop-better-solutions.com. It is free. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we reply within one month, or within 30 days where that is the legal limit.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to a data protection authority: the CNDP in Morocco (cndp.ma), the CNIL in France (cnil.fr) or your own EU authority, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca), or the Commission d'accès à l'information in Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).

We use two kinds of cookies:

• Necessary: cc_cookie remembers your cookie choice for six months. It is always on because the site cannot remember your choice without it.
• Analytics: _ga and _ga_* are set by Google Analytics for up to two years, and only after you accept them.

You can change your choice at any time from Cookie Preferences, also linked in the footer of every page. Our fonts are served from our own site, so no font request goes to a third party.

The contact form and booking tool are loaded from Tally and Cal.com when they appear on a page. Our site does not change its behaviour in response to Do Not Track signals, but analytics never run unless you opt in.

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to client information is limited to the people who need it for your project: Youssef Bitar and, where a project requires it, specialists bound by confidentiality. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. If a breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authority where the law requires it.

Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

• European Union and France. The legal bases and rights above are those of the General Data Protection Regulation. You can contact the CNIL or the authority in your own EU country.
• Canada. We handle personal information in line with PIPEDA and, for residents of Québec, Law 25. The person in charge of the protection of personal information is named at the top of this policy.
• United States. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. The categories we collect and why are described above, and you can ask us to access or delete your information by email.
• Morocco. You have the rights of access, rectification and opposition provided by Law 09-08, and you can contact the CNDP.

We update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change significantly affects how we use your information, we will make it clear on the site before it applies.
